Positions Open in Salem, SD
Mechanic – General mechanic work including rebuilding equipment and some teardown of salvage equipment. Salem Tractor Parts rebuilds a variety of parts and rebuilding may include pumps, transmissions, carburetors, engines or other parts as required. Quality and attention to detail is of extreme importance for this position.
Dismantler - Mechanical ability required. A working knowledge of tractors and combines is helpful. This position is responsible for handling the tear down of salvage tractors and combines for our parts operation.
Salvage Yard Assistant – Responsible for checking salvage yard equipment for the availability and condition of requested parts. May also include escorting customers throughout the salvage yard and some light mechanical work to dismantle equipment for immediate parts sales.
